Erection problems (impotence) are very common, particularly in men over 40.
Most men occasionally fail to get or keep an erection. This is usually due to stress, tiredness, anxiety or drinking too much alcohol, and it’s nothing to worry about.
If it happens more often, it may be caused by physical or emotional problems.

Hi everyone,
I have recently been diagnosed with chronic erectile dysfunction. I'm now 50, and I'm also a 5th grader. I've noticed my erections go back to normal (as per my doctors) and the time I was able to get the erections back was a few days earlier. I'm on 50mg of Tadalafil which I had in March, and I've never taken it before in my life. I've never had issues like it is now, but I've seen a few guys with erectile dysfunction on Tadalafil, and I've noticed that I've had more and more erections when I've not been on it for a while. The problem has only just gotten worse and worse, and the erection issues have been the worst in the last couple of years.
I'm a bit worried about the ED issue, but I've read a lot about it, and have started taking Tadalafil (2mg daily). I'm trying to find a way to control the ED issue. My doctor prescribed 2x5 mg of Tadalafil to me for the first one, but I think the side effects are more severe when I take it daily. I also read that you can only take one dose of Tadalafil for a period of time, but not to take more than 2 doses per day. I'm not sure how to give a specific dose to you, but I'll take it at least half an hour before sex, and it should work. If I do it too late, I may be having issues and may need to change to another drug like Cialis or Levitra. Thanks for all the help!
Hi!
Thank you for the heads up. I have a lot of anxiety about Tadalafil and I feel like I'm having a difficult time controlling it. I also have a lot of stress on my body and can't even get an erection. I also have a lot of stress, and I'm getting really worried about it, but I'm going to start taking Cialis with caution. I have been taking this for 2 weeks and I have noticed some signs of improved erectile function, but I'm also taking a different drug that is supposed to be used in some other conditions, like erectile dysfunction. I'm thinking about going on Tadalafil, but I can't figure out how to do this right now.
I'm also looking at getting a second dose of Cialis for the first time, and then taking another 2x5mg pill every other day for ED, and a couple of different meds for it (including an increase in dosages).
I'll try a new med for ED too. I'm currently taking 20mg of Tadalafil and it has really helped. I also have been on a 5mg pill for a few days, and it has helped a bit. I've had some good experiences with some other meds, and it has helped with some of the things I've tried, but it's been hard at work. I just want to know if it helps with the ED issue. Thanks again,
P. S. I'm on Tadalafil for a long time now. I've tried Tadalafil in my daily dose, but it does take about 30 minutes to kick in. So if you are having issues with the erections, and can't get the erections back, I would recommend not taking it. I'm also not taking any other erectile dysfunction drugs, just Tadalafil. I just know how much I have to go through for the ED issue.
Thank you so much for all the advice and support you've given me. I am not taking any other erectile dysfunction drugs, but I have been taking it for a few weeks now. I'm still worried about it, and I'm not sure if it helps. I've been trying to get a second dose of Tadalafil and can't figure out how to get one.
I have a lot of stress on my body, and I can't get an erection. I'm also getting really worried about it. I also have a lot of anxiety about ED, and I'm just worried about this too.
I've started taking a new medication and I'm still struggling with it, but I'm just glad I'm not alone. My doctor prescribed me Cialis, but it does take about 30 minutes to kick in. So I'm just hoping it's working. I'll definitely try another medication like Tadalafil, and see how it goes.

The gel is for people with mild to severe erectile dysfunction and is available over the counter
A new treatment for that can work within 10 minutes has launched in the UK.
It is a gel called Eroxon, and has been clinically proven to work for people with mild to severe erectile dysfunction.
Eroxon is made by Futura Medical, a pharmaceutical company based in the UK.
Eroxon is applied to the head of the penis, where the gel evaporates, with this evaporation stimulates vascular and neural nerve endings by rapidly cooling and warming the area. This triggers the release of nitric oxide, which relaxes blood vessels, therefore increasing blood flow to the penis and causing an erection.
The release of nitric oxide is also how other erectile dysfunction (ED) treatments such as Viagra work, but they have the disadvantage of relaxing blood vessels in the entire body, since they are taken orally and not applied directly. This can lead to side effects such as nausea, dizziness and headaches.
These side effects mean people with pre-existing health conditions, such as heart and liver disease, cannot take oral ED pills. They are also not safe for people who have recently had a stroke, and cannot be taken with some prescription medicines.
Dr Hilary Jones, who regularly appears as a health expert on ITV, told: “The word ‘breakthrough’ is often used in health headlines, but new treatments which are truly groundbreaking come along far less frequently. Eroxon is an innovative therapy which has the potential to change the lives of millions of men with erectile dysfunction.”
Dr Catherine Hood, a sexual health specialist, added: “When they were launched back in the 90s, PDE5i medicines were a game-changer, but they are not an option for many men due to pre-existing health conditions, interactions with their prescription medicines or simply because of the time they take to work.”
In a 12-week clinical trial of 250 people, two out of three reported a significant improvement in their ability to achieve and maintain an erection. The figure rose to 80 per cent for those with severe erectile dysfuncion.
The gel is available over the counter, without a prescription. Eroxon costs £24.99 for a pack of four single-use tubes, and is available from Boots stores and online.
